Interesting post. You do have a strong point. Infact this meekness has allowed many civilization to fall pray of islamic cult. It happened in India. They tried to absorb Islam but as usual there was macre of hindu folks. Iran did not respond to islamic threat and its rich culture vanished rapidly and was taken over by savage arabs muslims of time. Spain suffered under regressive islamic rule and its advanced civilization (no spain did not flourished under Islamic rule, it was far better than barbar and nomad arab culture before islam invaded ) halted. If Europe had not united the rest of europe would now be a literal hell run by idiot muslim rulers and would have hardly seen a prosperous europe. But we have to credit Christianity for this resistance to some extant. I believe Christianity was the unifying force that lead The europeans to strive for a common cause. They might have taken long to unify against The Islamic cult's aggression but they finally did. If Europe was mostly pagan I don't think this resistance would have built up
