Home treatment and prevention of staph infrections?

I live in Kauai and my job as a boat crew requires me to be in the ocean every single day. I get alot of reef cuts, just minor scs and cuts on my feet but they always seem to fester into staph infections. I've had 3 in the past 4 months. I know your supposed to keep all cuts you have clean, dry, and dressed, but that's practically impossible with my job. Are their any home remedies that anyone knows of, and what would eb the best thing I could do for my cuts seeing how they are getting doused with salt water constantly?

got a 580ck case backhoe with no revers.people try to tell me i got bad reverse clutches. (its a shuttle trans.) it works great win im rolling backwards Little and it will kick right in with no slipping or anything. but, win it does work, i have to have the clutch pedal in.win the pedal is in ,it will work. but win i disengage the pedal it will stop moving. i rebuilt the vale bank thinking that was the problem but it was not. i changed the filter on it to. can anybody with this kind of knowledge give me a honest answer or a suggestion about this? thanks

Weird thoughts and dreams.?

OCD or obsessive compulsive disorder can produce violent thoughts. most times however the person does not take any pleasure in thinking them. at least after they've had some time to rationalize it. OCD can materalize in various ways and its different with everybody. I'd suggest you talk to your family doctor about your concerns and have him/her refer you to a pshychologist. the fact that your speaking about having these thoughts in this ways tells me that they are unwanted therefore you shouldnt just leave this alone and make excuses for yourself about why not to talk to a professional about it. Is 79 mcg B12 too much?

Only people who really know about supplements answer this please. Cuz I had bad period cramps so I took Skeletal Strength cuz it's sposed to ease the pain. It also has b12 in it. I'm also taking 2 other supplements that both contain some b12. All together I've taken 79 mcg. That's not too much is it? There's no advverse effects of taking too much?

I'm a ff.net writer though my muse has left the building lol. I write under sitting ducki and I write NCIS stories. You'll also find I have favorited some really good ones but I think I have a uniqueness to my stories. I try to stick to the story lines or things that could actually happen while there are some writers that seem young. My nephew has picked up my writing habit and he's 11 so you'll find some stories that seem younger than that. I know a 12 year old who watches ncis and follows my stories and she's a good writer too. Just look to see what you like, they have where you can follow almost anything including particular episodes peoples takes on them. That's how I got into NCIS actually first through fan fiction and then through the actual show.

Question about joint supplement for horses.?

I have two horses that I keep on a good joint supplement. It costs about $100 a month. One has arthritis and the other has stifle issues. And the supplement makes a big difference for them. Strange creature in my Marine tank?

I believe it's called a bristle worm. I have no idea if I spelled that right. My husband has a salt water tank. I pretty sure they can be harmful to your fish as well. My husband had one in his tank and they are super hard to get out. I'm pretty sure they only come out when you turn out the lights. We ended up turning out the lights one night and using a flashlight to find him. He pulled him out with some of these long plastic tong things my husband has. I need to lose a stone and a half by august. My diet is fine - I'm following weight watchers so am eating under 1500 cals a day. I want to lose fat, not turn my fat into muscle and can only go to the gym 4 times a week - tues, wed, fri and sat. I have an aerobics cl on saturday so that's sorted. I really don't want to use the equipment for over an hour each day. My gym has bikes, treadmills, steppers, a rower, cross trainers and weights. Ever since I was very young I can remember feeling very strong and unpleasant emotions coming over me. I would say I can recollect feeling this way all the way back to when I was only 4 years old. I am 25 now and have never been treated for any type of mental disorder. When I was a little girl and I would feel this rush of negative emotion I didn't understand it, and would just sit very still and wait for the feeling to p. As I got older I remember always feeling very nervous around other people. I never wanted to do anything in front of the cl in school, and had a hard time socializing with other children. As I became a teenager I had the same feelings, and began to use drugs as a way to medicate myself. Obviously the drug use didnt help and could have actually amplified the anxiety I was feeling. Now I'm an adult and still live with this constant fear and nervousness. Even when I'm around friends I find myself shaking, and feeling full of angst. I want to see a doctor about the way I am feeling but I do not have much money as we are having rough economic times. I want to know what I can do to help myself and how expensive it would be to try to get this condition treated. I know psychologists are very costly and I dont think I could afford to go see one. What can I do to help myself?

Constant Pain in Right Thumb and Palm?

I have been having pain in my right thumb for the last 2 years. The only way I can describe it is a constant soreness that runs from the tip of the thumb into the palm. I have been to numerous doctors including neurologists, orthopedists hand surgeons and chiropractors. Tests done so far include 2 nerve conduction's, nerve block, mri on thumb, wrist and spinal cord, x-ray's on hand back and even a ultrasound - all negative. No one has been able to diagnose what the problem is. They have told me it is not carpel tunnel syndrome. Is there anything else that could be causing a pain like this?

i have been working on my roundoff tuck for a few months now, and it is perfect with a spotter. my coach tells me to do it and they are to the point they are getting kinda frusterated i wont do it by myself. whenever i do it with a spot i know that i can do it and i tell myself i swear i will do it on my next turn to tumble. but then i get up in front to go and i tell the spotter to please just stand there and i will do it by myself i just want them to stand there just incase, but then i go and i dont do it. i do a roundoff and then either just rebound or a very sloppy back handspring. people say its a mental block but i dont know? and if it is how do i get over it quick? i have choreography in 5 days and i have to get it or i wont get to tumble in my routine. please help me :(

Chinchilla stress problem?

well i have a chinchilla 2 and she gets like that alot...dont listen 2 ur roommate...if you dont take the chinchilla out any more it will get use to being in its cage and un-use to having humans pet or even hold them!! You need to keep takeing him or her out of the cage...not to go places but put him or her in an enclosed room and just kind of let he or she walk around dont bother him or her let them get use to being outside out the cage...then when its use to the outside surroundings then let ONE person in the room dont bether them chinchilla to much but kind of make him or her get use to humans again....i think what happened was that it was scared of ppl...and when your roommate took it out of the cage again it got scared that it was going to happen again thats the same thing my chinchilla does after we had to put her in a lil box to take her to the Vet...then she did the same thing when we took her out!! just ease the chinchilla into human touch b4 letting many ppl around him or her =)

Has anyone heard of a case like this? Last Oct, I took a prescription medication (for gerd) at night.The next morning around 10:30 am my throat started to feel heavier and tighter. It gradually got worse to the point I barely walk because I was loosing my breathe. I went to the E.R. and was a given Solu Medrol shot.The strange feeling went away and then later that night I started breaking out in hives but no other symptoms. The next afternoon same thing happened with my throat and I was red from my waist down. I went to a different E.R. and same thing they gave me a Solu Medrol shot again. After that day I was so sick I didn't know if I was coming or going. I was so weak, I could barely walk, oh and I covered in hives.This lasted for 4 weeks.I was supposed to take prednisone but by this time I said "to hell with it." I went to my GP and he couldn't figure it out, only said my white count was elevated ( but it wasn't ) that high. Went to an allergist he was thinking I had actually an allergy to a food instead of that actual medication. Since then I have been fine. I took everything out of my diet and over a period of six months gradually put everything back in. The only time get hives is if something scratches my skin but no allergy to anything. The only time I was been sick like this before was when I had a bad reaction to epstein t-bar and was in the hosp for 1 week ( something like bunch of lymph nodes in abdomen. Since then I have Splenomegaly, last year it was noted again during an ultrasound. But other than that healthy as a horse. Just being hopeful so next time I can nip this in the bud.

If I have a creature with an attached equipment, and that creature is exiled from the game due to an instant or sorcery, does the equipment fall off and remain in play, or is it exiled along with the creature? I know if the creature is killed due to damage the equipment falls off and remains in play, but I don't know what happens if the creature is removed from the game.

10 gallon fish tank?

i just got my first 10 gallon fish tank all set up with a filter and a fluorescent bulb. It is the 10 gallon starter kit from Tetra brand. I also have a heater and i'm keeping it at 79 degrees. I put some sand on the bottom and then i put two pieces of driftwood with java moss around it. I also use two pieces of plastic (circular with holes in them) to grow riccia inbetween them. Today, i added a dwarf puffer and a green tiger barb. Is there any advice on this tank? Thanks. Good answers only...

Then the fourteenth member will show up and attempt to get close to Roxas. I believe the fourteenth member is Aqua or her nobody, she will mistake Roxas for Ven and become obsessed over Roxas. Help! My husband took off with our son 2 days ago!?

My husband and I got into an argument 2 days ago. He got out of control and got kind of emotional. Apparently, he has been under a lot of stress he has been hiding from me, mostly from work and his parents. Some tell me to call the police and file a missing persons report. But I already know that they are both safe and fine and that he is taking good care of my son. My son's welfare is the most important thing to my husband as well. a friend of mine that works closely with a bird rescue group has 2 moluccan atoos from katrina. she had originally kept one of them and her son took one. her son has decided after all this time that the bird does not fit into his family. so he has asked my husband and myself to take him which we agreed to do. my large bird experience is limited to just 2 large birds a blue and gold macaw that we had to rehome because he did not adjust after my daughter was born and kept trying to go at her, and a military macaw that my great uncle had my entire life that now my uncle has. the bird is use to kids and dogs and small birds which he also has in his home, just like i do in mine. does anyone have any experience with this particular breed of birds? if so any words of advice?

Why are some people so self-righteous when it comes to their pet's diet?

Personally, I started feeding my 2 siamese cats the Royal Canin Siamese 38, which I'm sure is about the most expensive brand available (maybe just slightly under Wellness). The only reason I like Royal Canin is because they tailor their foods to different breeds of cats and dogs to meet specific individual needs. I tried Nutro, Science Diet, Purina, and they all had not very good results. This food is shaped so my cat can't gobble it down and throw it back up later. I have also noticed that my cat's (who used to constantly have diarrhea) diarrhea episodes have been drastically reduced. And, to be honest, these cats are very expensive and top-of-the-line pure-bred, so I want to keep them alive as long as possible, so I think its a bit more worth it to give them good food so they live a little longer. I do have to agree that most "premium" pet foods are a scam (don't every buy science diet!), however I feel very different about RC. I'm a bit like you in the sense that I hate it when people rag on me when I ask a question (Like where can i get the 15-pound bag of the RC i like?) and they say I should be feeding my cat wellness or a barf diet (that doesn't even sound appetizing). If the brand you feed your dog works for the dog's health, by all means don't fix something that's not broken. In a sense it's kind of like when people who own Mercedes-Benz's (atleast in my area) seem to think it's alright to cut people off in traffic {but, no, it's always the fault of the person driving the cheap ford}, they always have the right of way, they can go a little faster than everyone else, etc.--some people just feed their cats these "premium" diets because it's a status symbol, because they like to say they can afford to feed their cats "gold" and use $50 bills as toilet paper (but don't want to sound tacky, so they say they do it for the animal's health). I'm not feeding my cats the food they get for the status.

Can my employer ask me to take a break?

I work in a hotel as an auditor, if I work alone on my shift BY LAW am I required to take a break? I work eight hours per night and am told I have to clock out for a 30 min break at least. Is this legal? I have no problems with taking one but I think someone should have to relieve me if I'm not getting paid. I do have a lot of downtime but that should have no effect on my wages.

Missed a lot of Uni work due to stress and anxiety, dont know what to do anymore?

I have always suffered from stress and anxiety and the last time it was really bad was during my GCSE's. I ped all of my exams then and I was fine during 6th form. I did a diploma last year and I was fine then too but now im in my 1st year of a fine art degree and ive missed so much work as I have been suffering from panic attacks again and ive been depressed really bad. I have anxiety attacks and cant seem to cope anymore. I ped my 1st semester but now its 5 weeks into the 2nd one and ive missed so much work due to all this. Ive spoken to my tutor but she didn't seem to care at all and ive been to my GP various times and they have just put me on anti anxiety pills. I have been on them before and they don't help at all but that is all my GP does I ask for counselling and they wont give me any till ive been on the pills for at least a month. Im worried I am going to be kicked out and I would break down if that happened. I have made an appointment with the uni councillor but I still think im going to be kicked out. I seem to have no support there and they are not understanding at all. Its really making me worse and I have no idea what to do anymore

He was unhappy because there were other people ahead of him on a busy Saturday. I ume he was a policeman because he had on one of those Police Olympics t-shirts. Blepharoplasty - eyelid surgery concern?

I had upper eyelid surgery done about 4 days ago and wondered if anyone has had the same experience as me. One eye feels much tighter than the other as if more skin was removed from one lid compared to the other. No. I really love the third stanza; it adds an element of pathos and tenderness. My favorite stanza is, however, the last. It is so bittersweet and sensitive.
