Seizing a defaulter's Car on-road ? Is it legal ?

Can any Lawyer let me know whether a car purchased by taking finance from a Financial Company can be stopped on the way and seized with "Goondaism" while going to some urgent & emergent work if the purchaser / car owner is defaulter for 4 (Four) months in paying the EMI ? Do the car pullers have the right to scold the driver or the owner ?? Is there any published law in this regard ??. What the Law says ?? Seizing is alright, but can I suit a defamation case because it has harmed my personal reputation in front of hundred onlookers who know me personally. Please advise me. With thanks = KENNEDY
