Who wrote the book Candy?

I am so confused. Is it Kevin Brooks or Luke Davies? I've seen the movie and wanted to read the book and it looks like the Luke Davies one is the right version, but the one by Kevin Brooks has the same story summary?? In other words, which version is better and most like the movie? Please help me!!
